Welcome to the Midwinter Ball ticket requests for 2024

Great Hall, Parliament House, Canberra 

7.00PM Wednesday 3 July

Dress: Black Tie

Requests will only be valid if applied for by:

• Full time Residents of the Federal Parliamentary Press Gallery
• Members of Parliament, Senators and their Staff

If you do not list all members of your group on your request during the checkout process, they will not be considered in the running for a ticket.

If there are additional individuals who wish to sit with your group, they should complete another ticketing request and make note of one of the names of the people with whom they would like to sit in their application.

Each year, the Midwinter Ball is oversubscribed and therefore not all requests can be fulfilled.

Ticket requests close on Sunday 9 June at 5.00pm.

If you have been successful in your ticket request (partial or complete) you will be advised from Tuesday 11 June at 5.00pm via email and provided a link for online payment. All payment for successful tickets is required by 5.00pm Friday 21 June.

Once the ticketing process is completed, only registered and approved guests will be granted permission of entry to the event – tickets are NON TRANSFERABLE for security purposes.

The Midwinter Ball Foundation reserves the right to deny entry to the event for whatever reason determined by them.
